Geneca Named “Chicago's 101 Best & Brightest Companies to Work For” for Second Year in a Row

Oakbrook Terrace, IL, June 16, 2008 –  Geneca has been named one of “Chicago’s 101 Best & Brightest Companies to Work For” by the National Association of Business Resources (NABR). This award was created by the NABR to recognize companies that work with imagination and conviction to create unparalleled workplace environments. 

Winning companies are judged on communication, community initiatives, compensation and benefits, diversity and multiculturalism, employee education and development, employee engagement and commitment, recognition and retention, recruitment and selection, and work-life balance. Final judging is based on a detailed description of human resources practices and the results of an opinion survey issued to a random sampling of Geneca employees.

• Improved internal communications including a monthly electronic employee newsletter
