Business Analyst:

Responsibilities Include:

• Documents requirements with Use Cases, Activity Diagrams, and UI Specification documents.
• Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs.
• Must help design systems to parallel overall business strategies. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
• Closely interacts with all stakeholders to determine requirements for new projects and enhancements and translate the requirements into functional and technical
• Specifications that can be used by the Development, Testing and Operations teams.
• Assists in building wire frame models of proposed functionality.
• Performs and coordinates the analysis and design of business systems.
• Participates in all phases of the systems development life cycle to support the delivery of a multi-tier sales application.
• Consults with the business units to develop technical solutions for business needs. Conducts and leads Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions with business teams.
• Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of the needs of the customer from both a technical and business perspective.
• Works closely with clients to capture business requirements and see them through implementation.
• Acts as liaison between the business group and technical team. Assists project management with project scope meetings, conducts requirements gathering meetings, documents user business requirements.
• Participates in Unit Testing with Developers.
• Assists testing team to ensure requirements can be easily understood and that comprehensive testing scenarios have been identified.
• Assists with change controls and risk/issue identification.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience of related experience
• Excellent communication skills.
• Expert knowledge and experience in UML and RUP
• Previous experience conducting business requirement sessions (JAD sessions).
• Must be process oriented and have strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly and translate business requirements into technical language that is easily understood by the business.
• Good interpersonal skills.
