Oakbrook Terrace, IL., May 10, 2011 -- Custom software development firm, Geneca, announced today that it was recently named one of the Best Places to Work in Illinois for the second year in a row. Geneca has experienced steady growth over the past decade and continues to distinguish itself with a workplace that emphasizes employee development, engagement, culture and community giving.

This statewide survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Illinois, benefiting the state's economy, its workforce and businesses. The 2011 Best Places to Work in Illinois list is made up of 24 companies in the small/medium-sized list (15-249 U.S. employees) and 16 companies in the large-sized list (250+ U.S. employees). Participation is a two part process that consists of an evaluation of company workplace policies, practices, and demographics and an employee survey to measure the employee experience.
