Geneca Honored with “2013 Best Places to Work in Illinois” Award for Fourth Consecutive Year

Oakbrook Terrace, IL., April 15, 2013  -- Custom software development firm, Geneca, announced today that it was recently named one of the Best Places to Work in Illinois for the fourth year in a row. Geneca has experienced steady growth over the past decade and continues to distinguish itself with a workplace that emphasizes success for clients, employees, and  the community.

This statewide survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employers in Illinois, benefiting the state's economy, workforce and businesses. The 2013 Best Places to Work in Illinois winners consist of 35 companies in the small/medium-sized list (15-249 U.S. employees) and 25 companies in the large-sized list (250+ U.S. employees). Participation is a two part process that consists of an evaluation of  company workplace policies, practices, and demographics and an employee survey to measure the employee experience.

Geneca  will be recognized and honored at the Best Places to Work in Illinois awards ceremony coordinated by The Daily Herald Business Ledger on May 16 and will be profiled in a special publication by The Daily Herald Business Ledger on June 24. The final rankings will be announced at the event.

The awards program is produced by  the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago (HRMAC), the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) – Illinois State Council, the Workforce Boards of Metropolitan Chicago and managed by Best Companies Group.
